WAIVER REQUIREMENT
All Studio Time members must have a current waiver on file at all times. Waivers must be updated annually. Participation in Studio Time is prohibited without a valid signed waiver.
PREREQUISITES
Fused Glass Students: Completion of The Glass Bar Fusing Masterclass is required.
Stained Glass Students: Completion of The Glass Bar Stained Glass Intensive is required.
No exceptions will be made for newly joining members.
STUDIO EXPECTATIONS
Studio Time is an unguided, independent work session. Participants are expected to work within their current skill level without instruction or assistance.
Participants must be capable of independently completing their projects and techniques.
Studio coordinators are not responsible for teaching, troubleshooting, or answering project-related questions.
Instructor assistance is not guaranteed and is subject to instructor availability, scheduling, and project complexity.
Participants requiring instruction or technical assistance should schedule a private lesson.
MEMBERSHIP PERKS
Studio Time members are entitled to one cubby OR one baker’s rack storage space.
The Glass Bar reserves the right to reorganize, move, condense, or relocate stored materials at any time as needed.
All cubbies and stored materials must be clearly labeled with the participant’s full name and session date.
Items left behind after membership cancellation will be discarded without notice.
The Glass Bar is not responsible for lost, damaged, abandoned, or discarded items.
Members may bring a friend as a guest for the reduced rate of $25 per session, materials not included. To register a guest reserve two spots for yourself and staff will charge the guest accordingly. Policies listed here apply to that guest equally.
MEMBERSHIP COSTS & BILLING
Studio Time Membership Fee: $125/month.
Memberships are billed as automatic recurring subscriptions.
Membership includes 8 visits per month. Additional passes may be purchased for $20 per visit.
A minimum of two (2) weeks written notice is required to cancel membership.
A $75 sign-on fee applies to all new memberships and reactivations.
Memberships may be paused for a maximum of 30 days per calendar year.
REGISTRATION, CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOW POLICY
All members and visitors must register online in advance to reserve Studio Time. Capacity is limited and space is not guaranteed without registration.
Failure to register in advance will result in a $10 administrative fee.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations.
Members who cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or fail to attend a reserved session, will incur a $15 no-show fee.
Single-session visitors who cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, or fail to attend a reserved session, will forfeit the full $35 session fee.
No refunds, credits, transfers, or rescheduling accommodations will be provided for missed sessions or voluntarily abandoned sessions.
PATTERN PREPARATION
Patterns will be printed on Monday evenings and must be submitted by Friday at 4pm in order to be printed on Monday.

Submissions must include dimensions of the piece and will automatically include both a cricut pattern and a rapid resizer copy unless otherewise noted.
If a submitted pattern requires modifications or corrections, a $40 hourly design adjustment fee will apply. An estimated quote will be provided prior to work being completed.
Rapid Resizer copies and Cricut pattern printing are available for $10 per item. Larger patterns, requiring more than a square foot of vinyl will be charged at $2.50 per additional square foot.
MATERIALS POLICY
Most materials at The Glass Bar are sold individually by piece, weight, or ounce.
Glass located in scrap bins is included for in-studio use only. Any scrap glass removed from the studio will be charged by weight.
Studio Time participants may not use materials designated for classes, including boards, rails, and specialty class materials.
Participants are responsible for purchasing their own approved materials.
No outside materials, tools, or equipment may be brought into the studio without prior approval. The Glass Bar reserves the right to refuse any outside materials or equipment at its sole discretion.
MACHINERY POLICY
Use of studio machinery is permitted only after completion of required training and staff approval.
Participants are responsible for machine setup, cleanup, and breakdown after use.
Failure to properly clean or reset machinery will result in a $15 cleaning fee.
If machinery or equipment is damaged during participant use, the participant will be responsible for a $200 part replacement fee, plus any additional repair costs if applicable.
FUSED GLASS PROJECT POLICIES
Fused glass projects generally require approximately two weeks for completion. Participants will be notified when projects are ready for pickup.
The Glass Bar does not guarantee project completion dates and cannot guarantee completion within a specific timeframe.
The Glass Bar is not responsible for breakage, cracking, devitrification, kiln mishaps, or any damage occurring during the firing process.
EARLY & LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Studio sessions begin promptly at the scheduled start time.
All participants must check in with the Studio Coordinator upon arrival.
Early arrival will result in a $10 fee.
Participants arriving late will not receive additional time, credits, or refunds.
EARLY & LATE DEPARTURE POLICY
Studio sessions end promptly at the scheduled end time.
A 30-minute warning will be given before session end. Cleanup must begin no later than 15 minutes before the end of the session.
Participants must vacate the building by the scheduled end time.
Late departures will result in a $10 fee per quarter hour.
Participants choosing to leave early will not receive make-up time, credits, or refunds.
REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY
All sales are final. The Glass Bar does not offer refunds under any circumstances.
Unused merchandise may be exchanged for store credit within 30 days of purchase provided the item is unused, undamaged, and has original tags attached.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT
By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Studio Time Policies outlined in this document. You understand these policies are strictly enforced without exception and that failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of studio privileges without refund.
